Greetings once again from the Land Of Eternal Spring!

It never gets boring no matter how many times it happens. It never gets too old to write about. Every time it happens it helps us to realize even more the power of God and His Word for the lives of people wanting to serve Him.

This morning it happened again. Marisol Zuņiga came forward after the sermon and made her desire known to be baptized into Christ. Marisol once studied with the Mormons and was baptized by them. She began studying God's word with Anibal and Fanny Ramirez around September of last year. After studying the Bible she saw the need to obey her Lord as He commended her. Marisol is the sister of Glenda, who was baptized almost three years ago, the daughter of Erlinda, who was baptized a little over a year ago, and the sister of Ilsia, who was baptized about a week ago.

We are rejoicing and know that you are too that Marisol has made the decision to come out of darkness and walk in the marvelous light of our Lord. We are very glad to have her as our new sister in Christ. It was good to see her in the new Christian's class this morning.

That's what happened in the morning. Now, for the evening. Two people responded to the Lord's invitation. The first was Alida Martinez, one of our new babes in Christ. She came forward asking her church family to pray for her spiritual life and for some struggles she is going through right now. It's great to know that, even though she is a new Christian, she knows the power of prayer and also that she knows she has a family here that cares for her.

The second person that responded was Catalina Judith Salazar. Catalina first responded to be restored back to her Lord. After a brief discussion with Byron she realized that she had not been baptized biblically. After further study she made the decision to do what she knew God wanted her to do and be immersed into Christ for the remission of her sins. Some of her family, who are members at Linda Vista, had also previously shared the Gospel with her. However, tonight her heart was open to obey God Almighty

So as you can see our Sunday was a great one. Please keep Marisol, Alida, Catalina, the other new converts, those restored and the rest of the Linda Vista family in your prayers. Everyone, but the devil and his angels, are happy. Pray that God will protect us from the enemy as he raises his UGLY head to slow down or stop the work here.

That's all for this writing. Lord willing, we will write again soon, hopefully, with some more good news. We have sent pictures. Please let us know if you have any difficulty viewing them.

Con amor,

Hawatthia
